DELIVERY FEES: All delivery fees are charged at cost. There are no handling fees.

APPLICATION TOOLS:  The project type determines the kind of applicator required. 

Applicator Pads (round/white)
The round applicator pad supplied in the medium and large kits, is ideal for coating large flat areas and round cylindrical items (e.g. balustrades, bannisters, railings, plaques) Applicator pads can be wrapped in aluminium foil for short term protection to stop them going hard. Do not use plastic film to wrap. Discard these after the job is finished.

Sponge Wedges
For narrow profiles and small items you can use a sponge wedge.  Samples are included in the kit.

Paint Brushes (Natural Bristle)
If you are coating a lot of items we recommend using a natural bristle paint brush.
Chip brushes (which are natural bristle) are inexpensive and can be discarded after use.
Other natural bristle brushes can be cleaned up with Xylene Solvent.

Brushes can be wrapped in aluminium foil for short term protection to stop them from going hard. Do not use plastic film to wrap.

Other application tools
Other application tools can be a high density foam roller or pad. If spraying use a high volume low pressure unit with a fine tip.

SOLVENTS & CLEAN UP: Solvents are not included and are available from your local hardware store. 

Methylated Spirits (100% ethanol) or Xylene Solvent can be used as a solvent wipe prior to coating 

Methylated Spirits can also be used to remove wet coating from surfaces.

Xylene Solvent can be used to clean up spray tips, natural bristle paint brushes (meths is not strong enough) and to remove cured/dry coating.
